So....I guess we need another quote to end this post......
"A bend in the road is not the end of the road... unless you fail to make the turn. ~Author Unknown"
Since March 2009, Joe and I began our journey towards adoption. This blog is both a timeline and a memory book for our children. When times got hard on the journey and you often wonder where is your support team, I try to remember the words that were asked of Jesus...."During my times of trial and suffering Lord, when I needed you most, why do I see only one set of footprints in the sand?" and Jesus responded "It was then that I carried you."

WHAT$100 for the Dr certificates they were free in MA!! It must be a New Jersey thing. Keep bugging your agency to get the rest of the list!! My fingers are crossed for a quick court date for you. Mattie wants to meet the sons of the police man who gave him his patch!!
I'm surprised Beth didn't need the ABMS certs --- we had to get all 9 certs re-done (requested by the *female judge*) before going to Ekat for Trip 2 since it was over 6 months from the originally issued certs from the ABMS. The only good thing is that subsequent certs from the ABMS cost $50 each.
I do have to say, our agency (AO - partner of Frank) was upfront about this cost so we knew. Plus, getting the ABMS certs was pretty much the least painful of the entire dossier paperchase. The Rep at the ABMS was so thorough and efficient ~ no crying or begging needed to expedite! Just another check...cha-ching.
Keep looking at those pics and videos...they make the paperchase tolerable. And perhaps like birth (never been there though), after the kiddos are home, this labor of pain (the p/w) will be a distant memory and you will only know joy.
Hang in there! :)
P.S. For enquiring minds...
We needed 9 ABMS certs because I had 8 doctors, of which Jon used 7 of the same and a different GP, thus 9 MDs total... ;)
